Description:
Lab life
This series of illustrations wants to represent the daily tools and landscapes of a scientist working in a laboratory. You will see the bench where all experiments are planned and performed, reagents are stocked and machines placed; pipettes, the personal item of a scientist as they allow the manipulation and pipetting of microscopic volumes (less than a drop of water!); a pipette tip in use while the scientist loads a sample in a string of wells.
This series was created during the pandemia in 2020 when laboratories were closed and the author got nostalgic about the lab space. Representing was a way to remember the daily life before the pandemia. Finally, the Art&Science logo on the screen of a computer shows how the right idea of starting an activity as a scientific illustrator stemmed from a very dark moment.
