Parallelism
This illustration shows the parallelism between two different biological cycles: the Drosophila life cycle and the Krebs cycle. During the past few years, developmental biology has started to consider metabolism as an additional regulatory layer for ontogeny. Thus, I am highlighting here the entanglement between a metabolic cycle, and the development of an animal. The drawing was used to illustrate the Doctoral Thesis of Lautaro Gándara
